Crocus

My first thought when I look at this picture is, "Beautiful!"  And then I remember how I must've looked taking this picture, chin in the mud, right down on the ground... So my second thought is "*smirk*." 

Signs of Spring

I love finding crocuses in the back yard.  It seems like it always happens on a particularly muddy, kind of hum-drum day, too.  You're cold, the day seems kind of gloomy, and then you find these bright little faces peering out of the ground...  :)
