Through the Blueberry Bushes

"Through the Blueberry Bushes" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2010

Caught my little cousin Hannah during pick-your-own blueberries on the other side of the bushes, pondering the task at hand.  So sweet!

Waiting in the Rain

"Waiting in the Rain" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2012

Rain drops on the windshield always remind me of ants:  Quick and seemingly purposeful, choosing their path quickly and working together to get things done.  When there's nothing else to do, rain on the windshield leaves much to the imagination...  What does it make you think?

Going through some old pictures, I came across this... *sigh*  I love pretty food.  :)

Gerbera Berry Bouquet

Gerbera

And the first word that comes to your mind when you see this picture is...?  I wanted to say something for this one, but.... I'm drawing a blank.

Lily of the Valley

"Lily of the Valley" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2012

I have a lot of pictures of these.  Can't seem to bring myself to delete any of them.  Too much prettiness.

Walnut

"Walnut" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2012

We have a walnut tree in our yard.  But quite honestly, I have no idea how you are supposed to get that thick green coating off of the outside of them... Any ideas?

Blossoms

"Blossoms" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2011

I'm pretty flowers that grow on trees are the most beautiful.  At least, in my opinion.  Maybe it's because they only come for a short period of time every year?  Makes them special, like Christmas.  :)

Lilacs for Mama

"Lilacs for Mama" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2012

I think lilacs are my favorite flower.  And since I know my mother loves them, this is something I love to bring in when they're in season.  Just wish they lasted longer... *sigh*

Do you have a favorite color lilac?  I can't decide if I like these, the dark purple ones, or the white ones best... Probably I love them all.

Angel Chime

"Angel Chime" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2012

We have this set of wind chimes that looks like angels, all slightly tinted in pink and purple colors... Rusted over, from time, wind, and rain.  I love wind chimes; the music in the wind.  They remind me of precious times gone by and add a smile to every moment they move.

Spider

"Spider" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2011

Taking this picture was an adventure; I don't like spiders.  At all.  But I will confess... I'm pretty proud of this picture.  Maybe because it's awesome... or maybe because I got close enough to take it, and I'm amazed at my own courage.  Not sure.

Mushrooms

"Mushrooms" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2011

Found these in our backyard.  Who knew?

Rain Flowers

Sweet, fresh, spring.  Love it.

Lavender Sunset

"Purple Sunset" - Captured by Naomi Thomson, 2011

There's nothing like a summer night out on a boat, with a lavender sunset on the horizon.  Beautiful.
